Wombat Review Don't Be Afraid of the Dark (2009)

A young girl is sent to the english country side to stay with her father in an old manor he has aquired. One day while she's exploring the basement she discovers the dark secret the house holds.

This is worth the watch. It's an enjoyable twisted fairy tale that relies on a solid narative to keep the viewer watching. The specail effects are applied in a tasteful manner which makes it watchable for those who don't care for an excusive amount of gore but can handle a shock or two.
